The Harrison County Courthouse in Marshall, Texas

The Harrison County courthouse in Marshall, Texas was designed by famed Texas architect, J.Riely Gordon. It was built in 1900 and is Renaissance Revival style. It is built of yellow brick and white marble with gray granite columns. It has six eagles around its central dome which is topped by Lady Justice.

The courthouse has been beautifully restored inside and out as part of the Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program.
